German Team

The German team which participated in the first European Indoor Football Championships of Homeless People for the Polish Football Association Cup in 2005 was represented by an organisation publishing a street paper for the homeless, which is called "Straussen".
The primary activity of the organisation operating in the city of Munster and its vicinity is editing and printing the paper, which is later sold by the homeless and in this way it gives them an opportunity to earn money for themselves. The editorial staff also conducts various initiatives, whose aim is to help the homeless and the needy. One of these initiatives is a football team.
The Munster team had their debut at the very championships in Poland, unfortunately they participated only in the first edition in 2005, finishing in the 7th place.
