Dutch Team

The Dutch team is organised by CVD - the greatest charity organisation in Rotterdam. The members of the team are mostly charges of a shelter in Hille, and participants of a huge reintegration project called "Home Sweet Home".
The eight-member team had their debut in 2005 during the first European Indoor Football Championships of Homeless People for the Polish Football Association Cup, finishing in the 8th place and winning the Fair Play Cup, as well as the title of the spectators' favourites.
From that time, both trainings (unfortunately not too frequent ones) and sparing matches with the inhabitants of other shelters and CVD workers have started. As a result, at the second European Indoor Football Championships of Homeless People for the Polish Football Association Cup they beat Denmark and went up to the 7th place.
The team is developing and training more and more, and is getting ready for the next championships.
