2005
In 2005 the European Indoor Football Championships of Homeless People for the Polish Football Association Cup were held on 18-20 November. Teams from Poland, Holland, Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Norway were divided into two groups:

Group 1 Group 2
Russia
Northern Poland
Czech Republic
Holland
Denmark
Southern Poland
Germany
Norway

In group A the Russians were second to none, winning all the points. The next places were won by Northern Poland, the Czech Republic and Holland. In group B Southern Poland won the competition, defeating Norway, Denmark and Germany.

The finals:

In the finals the following teams fought for:

the 7th place: Germany vs. Holland 3:1

the 5th place: Czech Republic vs. Denmark 15:1

the 3rd place: Northern Poland vs. Norway 3:2

the 1st place: Russia vs. Southern Poland 4:0

Displaying high quality football, Russia won the tournament. In the final match the Russians did not give Southern Poland any chance, and deservedly won 4:0.

The third place match was dubbed the most interesting and the most fierce performance. The Norwegians were leading 2:0, but eventually were defeated by Poles 2:3. The match was sometimes very brutal- mainly because of the forceful play of the descendants of Vikings.

The Fair Play Cup was granted to the Dutch team for their spontaneous attitude and their drawing happiness on the game.
